Natural England’s Chief Executive to join Yorkshire Water

Yorkshire Water has announced that Dr Helen Phillips will be joining the company early next year to take up the position of Director of Customer Service and Networks.

Dr Phillips is currently Chief Executive and Board Member of the Government’s advisory body on the natural environment, Natural England, and joins Yorkshire Water having served in that role for five years.

She brings proven experience of leading large, dynamic, organisations with previous operational, regulatory and advisory roles at the Environment Agency and the National Rivers Authority, as well as in her current role at Natural England.

In her new role as Director of Customer Service and Networks, Dr. Phillips will be responsible for managing the company’s 55,000 miles of water and sewer pipes and ensuring customers continue to receive a first class customer experience.
